Update for 2013

Hey folks!

Many of you are for the first time visiting my blog as to my parents arrival back to Brazil they have revisited many friends, made new friends and have a lot more contacts at my request for all those whom would like to keep up with our lives through the lens of my eyes through pictures and more excitingly with the new technology Videos!

WELCOME to all the new comers whom is visiting the site for the first time and may you enjoy looking over the pictures that I have posted for several years now and see how 'pretty' we use to look and how not so pretty we now look and keep up and see how ugly we really get... ;)

I have not posted so much in the recent months with less frequency...

Due to using Facebook...but then again many people don't have it, don't use it and DON'T want it! Any way I will take care of that...

You got email?

That is all you need! I will keep you posted more often.

After my last update I mentioned that our family was going to be criss-crossing the air ways as many of us went south for my cousin's wedding.
Heading south to my cousin's wedding and swinging by to visit the city of Florianopolis to catch the bus!
These are my amazing Grandparents whom have an amazing story! They are 88 and been married for 64 years! It had been 3 years since I had seeing them and I cried when I saw them. For the first time I have gotten there story down on video...about 3 or 4 hours that took 3 days of recording! Soon I will be putting up a little documentary on their life! Pray with me as I am hoping to some day visit the missionaries whom have worked with my grandparents to get their inspiring stories that will probably go untold unless we go to them to get them! Pray with us so we can see this project happen!
Here is the newly wed couple! Willian and cousin Emily!
Here is the Remnant Family what was left after the wedding! The rest are spread out in the world and we miss them all!
Ok, yes I admit I was writting my late wish list for Santa to bring...eheheh.
Check out this big whooper drink! =) A southern 'tea' like drink they love to share around.
I love you Grandpa and hope to visit you again! It was hard to leave you guys again and wish I could keep you with me forever in my house!

Dad and Mom got back to Imperatriz before we did and happily we got our some of our wish list answered! =) I got a new camera from Dad and a GoPro camera from a dear friend, Dawn! It was nice because my little one gave out and now my Professional camera is giving problems so I will not be with out cameras!
Mom hunting around for Oli and my stuff!
Oli is so happy to get some of these presents as they are way to expensive down here to acquire!
I checking out my new equipment! =D

Our first lunch together...sadly Darel and Bella and their girls couldn't make it because of the long distance! I miss them!

 Dad celebrating his BD!
Dad trying out his new BD gift, the hammock and mom taking a picture with her Ipad.
On our return and first night we encounter after a month the group of young girls are working with the younger girls and teaching them to dance and do presentations! Way to Go!
Sharing and teaching...

On the day we returned our house, in January, got broken into and my wife was heart broken as many objects were missing. Of all the objects the most important of them all was little doll toys that were made for our wedding that looks like us. They found a weak spot and as you can see in the picture were able to break open the window and went out the back door. After a few weeks Oli came running to me with her little doll and we discovered that it was the neighbor next door and her daughter, she is deaf we call her the Deaf Girl...after much talking and persuading we found out that the other one was in the other tribe and we got her and went after all the other missing stuff. Well, I came back with a missing arm (the doll that is).

Just this past weekend we got word that our house was broken into again and we went out there and to our relief it wasn't but she had started to cut the rope I used the rope to hold the window together as we didn't have a stick at the moment (I used it to fix the window). So we went out there and we found out that there was a key of ours that a girl has. My Dad's keys went missing once a long time ago. So after talking with the girl and explaining to her that Oli was really sad and that if she breaks in my wife will want to leave and never come back and if she leaves I am going to have to go too. It is sad because we help them out from time to time and give them things to eat. They come for oil, onions, etc. You help them but still get treated like that is really sad. So I told the little girl because her mom is deaf so we have to deal with her, I will give you 3 days to bring those keys back, if you don't bring them back I will call you before the leaders of the tribe and will ask them to discipline you but if you bring the keys back I will call you but will ask them not to discipline you. Pray for us to handle it in the right way!
This month we went to a Leaders Retreat and took a few guys with us! It was a blessing as we all learned and God help me understand some things that I could not understand before!
Here is a meeting in one of the tribes in Jerusalem! They are amazing as they built this church on their own! God is teaching and raising them up! They need help to do a flooring.
Here is the Leader that God has risen up in Jerusalem, Pedro (Peter) and I have orientated and his daughter. He is an amazing guy with an amazing vision! He has a dream to buy a sound system and go and visit other tribes and take the Love and Word of God. They have with, their own church money, bought their own sound system and going to get another one. It is slow because the level of income is quite low....it moves me how much they are driven to serve God with so little and they don't let what they don't have stop them!
The guys love to play soccer! No American Football around here....they think it is to rough, ehehhe...
Here is a view of the church building...we still lack the flooring and rooms to store the stuff!
Over to the right is the soccer field as you saw where the guys were playing soccer.
Over to the right a little as you can see...........yes. I am sad to say this but the condition of living in the tribe is sometimes not so encouraging and to fix things like this is beyond our reach. The water box while being installed got delayed and the lid broke and got used as a wall for a bathroom. Now we have no lid to protect our water and that is what it looks like. My wife gets a little sick sometimes and she has to boil the water to not get sick many times.

Over to the right a little more...you can't see our house but behind where the branches of that tree are down is our house. I will someday get a video up with the view of the tribe!
Here is another one of our amazing leaders! He and his wife work with the teens and young married couples!
Here is our chief...he is a believer. We have a great relationship and he supports us which has been a huge blessing. He doesn't hardly go to the meetings but that is understandable as the tasks of the chief starts at 6 AM and goes way into the night about 9 or 10 PM and they are exhausted.
Here is another amazing couple, Ray and his wife, Leaders of our church, and a good friend of mine to the left.
Here visiting an old friend of my Grandparent's and U. Stan Pries.
Ms. Louis spending time in the word. An awesome missionary lady in her 70's still serving the Lord! Pray for health and strength! She was robbed the other night and the thieves knocked her down hard on the ground.
Here is one of Oli's cats...
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII....come visit us! WE would love to have you!!!
God spoke to me and I understood a concept I should have always known and understood but finally after being showed from the Word of God how the first church in the book of Acts they gathered in the houses and had times together to share and worship...Last year they got together every morning and evening to pray and committed themselves for a whole year. This year I am going to get together with them once a week on Thursday nights.

Here is a new Missionary, playing the guitar, from the church that is going to be with us for a while to help bring some studies to the believers to grow in their walk with God.
Dad and I having fun digging up and old record player and playing some of Dad's childhood songs.
This time has been a little difficult because ever where you look you see someone fighting to make ends meet, fighting to get a better schooling, going hungry, need a house covered and built, sick and not getting enough or any treatment, bad water. Here is a neat friend of mine, he walks around barefoot because his Indian dad that adopted him doesn't have enough money to get him a pair of flip-flops. He is showing me what the rocks do.
All I had was a pair of old flip-flops to give him .... but now they already gave out.
Here is a friend of mine, Mr. Frank, whom I met while going to school in Redding, California. He came down to visit 2 times and God bought a woman in his life and he came back and got married!
My wife and I at his wedding! It was so amazing how I met him for the first time and we laugh as we talk about it!
I couldn't resist posting this one as I got so many 'Likes' on facebook. =)
Here is the bride and her 2 children waking in with her.
 The lovely couple!
Here we are at the end of the pictures! Oli and I hopped in the car right before they pulled out and he didn't notice that we got in and after a couple seconds we suprised him! LOL.... we are the crazy Bailey's so watch out! ;)

Before you go check out these videos I made!

Children's day that we had last year! WE are hoping to do another one this year and need help to do it in 4 reservations!

Love in Action is a short video I did and a quick glimpse of a real life in a tribe! Enjoy it!

Hey! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did putting this little update together! Sorry for it being so long but I will be coming up with another update soon on the little "AWANA" program that we are doing! So not for long there will be new videos and pictures to post!
